Join us Friday, April 5 at 6:30 p.m. to celebrate the ministry God has given us to the women and men of the EUP. This great evening includes food, fellowship and an amazing speaker. Seating is limited, so please RSVP to Care Net via email at cnpcofeup@gmail.com or by phone at 906-635-1103.

Join us Friday, April 5 at 6:30 p.m. to celebrate the accomplishments of 2018 and look forward to what God has in store for 2019. This year's guest speaker is Evie West. Evie speaks from her experience as a former LA gang member and two-time teen mother who was faced with the decision to terminate her second unborn son. Through God's amazing grace, a story of intrigue, tough love and miracles, Evie's life is now a passionate picture of redemption and abundant life. Because she understands how one comes to a decision to abort a child and what it feels like to give birth and not take her baby home, she speaks with heartfelt compassion on pro-life issues.

The banquet will be held at Sault Wesleyan Church on Seymour Rd. in Sault Ste. Marie. Dinner for this evening is catered by Karl's Cuisine. It features Chicken Piccata and Fish.

Seating is limited, so please RSVP to Care Net via email at cnpcofeup@gmail.com or by phone at 906-635-1103.

Invite friends and family members you feel would like to join the Care Net ministry. It takes all of us to serve the women and men God brings through our doors.

Caring for Care Net Sunday is a way for your church to find out what is happening at Care Net and join the team supporting life in the EUP.

January is Sanctity of Human Life Month. At Care Net, this is a special time for us to remember that not only is life precious, it is truly a gift from God. No human can create life. Only God can give us life, and give it abundantly.

Care Net has always been a Christian, faith-led ministry – a "para-church" ministry. This means that while we are not tied to one particular denomination or congregation, we are an extension of the ministry to which the church as a whole is called in James 1:27. We do not accept government funding or grants so we can continue to share not only truth, but also God's love, through our contacts with the women and men of the EUP. We are dependent on the churches of this area for both prayer support and financial support.

As of November 28, Care Net has served 61 individual clients at 419 appointments. 15 of these were medical clients seeking pregnancy tests and ultrasound confirmations of pregnancy. 7 of these were abortion-minded, 3 of whom we know carried through on having an abortion. We ask for prayer for them as they live with the hurt and guilt that many times accompanies this decision. 13 of our 61 clients are men also struggling to parent or struggling with pain and guilt from past abortions.

We are again asking you to host a Caring for Care Net Sunday in January 2018, Sanctity of Human Life month. Please feel free to make this Sunday special to your congregation, but here are some suggestions. Leading up to the Sunday you choose, use the enclosed bulletin insert to excite your congregation about supporting Care Net. On that day, please share a short video about Care Net and take a free-will offering. The video is available here - Caring for Care Net Video. If you would like to also include a baby bottle campaign, please contact us for a supply of baby bottles.

I would love to come and share personally with your congregation about how God is working through us to save lives – not only the physical lives of the unborn, but also the eternal lives of whole families. I am currently scheduling visits for January through April, 2019.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or email us.

God Bless You,

Noel K. Rupprecht

Join us November 27 for an online global giving movement.

Care Net and #GivingTuesday
Dear Friends,

We are so thankful for a community that encourages life by supporting Care Net Pregnancy Center of the EUP.  Please join us this year for #Giving Tuesday, November 27. This global giving movement is celebrated after Thanksgiving and the corresponding shopping days.

At the end of each year, Care Net asks for donations for a specific project or need. This year our #GivingTuesday and year-end gifts will be used for a new phone system. The phones at Care Net are a wonderful tool for us to be able to communicate with clients. Lately, we have experienced some difficulties. One of the phones no longer connects with the others. The voice mail feature of the system no longer works. While we have a new fax machine, the phone system is too old to recognize the more modern technology of the fax machine. Finally, since the system is over 15 years old, there is no customer service or repair service available. While we have been able to work around all these issues and continue to operate almost effectively, we realize that these issues will continue to compound.

This #GivingTuesday and Christmas season we are asking you to help us share the message of great joy. Help us communicate well and efficiently with women and men considering abortion. We ask you to consider a special year-end gift to help purchase and install a new phone system that will serve us for the next 15 years. Quotes we have collected place the cost of a 6-phone system at about $5,000. Any funds donated above what is needed for a phone system will be used to begin upgrading the computers.

Please begin planning what you will give at the end of this year. To donate toward Care Net's phone system, simply write "phones" in the memo of your check or type "phones" as the special designation when making a contribution online at www.eupforlife.org/Support-Financially, at the bottom of page.

Thankful for wonderful partners in LIFE,

Noel K. Rupprecht
